Back with their second release of the year, 4minute have taken inspiration from the elements for the styling of their Is It Poppin’ promotions.
Questionable song title aside, this could be our favourite of 4minute’s concepts to date. Fresh, young and quirky, the impressionable five pull off the East London inspired choices effortlessly, whilst keeping a flavour of their own personality and femininity.
As with the expected girl group reign, 4minute are ultra coordinated. Denim, whites and accessories to match the personalities of HyunA, Gayoon, Jihyun, Jiyoon and Sohyun are perfect for the late summer stretch.
Easily the starlet of the show is Sohyun, maknae of the band. Looking super sweet in mismatched two-pieces, flatforms and a little caps, Sohyun favours bold tees with simple shorts. Try the Lace Number Tee (£22) for a piece that’ll work effortlessly with all of your wardrobe favourites, old and new. Shorts wise, no-one brings it better than Miss Selfridge – plump for the Printed Pocket Bag Shorts (£30) and add the River Island Beige Concealed Wedge High Tops (£50) to elevate your look.
Next up is Gayoon, lead singer. Favouring oversized tops and a super skinny jean for this look, she also adds a statement headpiece to every performance. Get her look with the Velour T-Shirt at Zara, new for the late summer (£19.99). Size up for the signature Gayoon look, and team with these The Legging jeans from AG Jeans (£165). Gayoon always looks dewy, groomed and effortlessly glowy, so sweep the NARS Highlighting Blush in Albatross (£21.50) across the highest parts of your face to achieve that bronzed-yet-pale look.
Finally, the leader of the group Jihyun goes for ladylike for their Is It Poppin’ promotions. With little cropped shell tops paired with pencil skirts, her look is sweetly feminine and perfectly wearable. Steal her style with the Speckle Check Print Cami (£26) and Quilted A-line Skirt (£25).
