Here at Aesthetic HQ, there are few things we love more than getting together and having a browse of our favourite high end makeup counters. One cosmetic collaboration which has been on our radar for a long while is Lancôme Show by Alber Elbaz, which launches nationwide today.

Whilst we’ve been known to indulge in a Burberry eyeshadow or two before popping along to Pinkberry to seal the deal in Selfridges, we’re usually quite restrained with our beauty spending, preferring to save our hard earned pennies for something from Tom Ford, Chanel or NARS (or if you’re our Accessories & Shopping Editor Elodie, stockpiling Bioderma on your return trips to France!).

The rise and rise of designer beauty brands shows no signs of abating, and with the launch of the much anticipated Marc Jacobs cosmetics range just around the corner, the market has become bountiful for beauty addicts and fashionistas alike.

Incorporating Elbaz’s signature quirky approach, this is a collection which looks set to fly off the shelves. Taking some of Lancôme’s most iconic products and giving them a distinct dose of Lanvin attitude, the collaboration sees the much loved Lancôme mascaras, the new Hypnôse eye palette and Hypnôse Mono eyeshadows given a high fashion transformation, complete with bold illustrated packaging and some unmistakable Lanvin charm.
