With a change in season comes a switch up of go-to nail colours. While we love navy blue, deep reds and a greige for the winter, the UK sent a memo round that the spring is finally incoming. Here’s our roster of must-have nail lacquers…

Our current favourite nail colour is Essie’s Nice is Nice. A light, grey-tinged lilac purple, this one is girly, elegant and summery. The fresher take on lilac looks clean and slick on the nails, and better yet – it applies like a dream. Two coats and you’re done. Next up, butter LONDON’s Yummy Mummy is an understated lacquer of warm neutral goodness. Laced with a stunning, subtle shimmer, Yummy Mummy is the ideal everyday nail colour, but Fiver is an essential update to the mint collection.

From the High Street, Topshop’s nail colour offerings are genius. From the on-trend AWOL – a cobalt blue – to the eye-wateringly bright coral red of Collegiate, this is a brand that is doing it right once again. Delve a little more in and Accessorize Beauty have rustled up some stunning new shades: we’ve earmarked their Apricot Crush Je T’aime nail polish for beachside trips and late afternoon pitcher sessions.
