Once it reaches the midway point of the week, we begin to get a little cabin fever by way of eateries. Put it simply: the Aesthetic girls like to eat, and eat well, and brunch is the highlight of our weekly menu. A fashionable (oh yes, fashionable) hybrid of breakfast and lunch, our current favourite haunt is Bill’s…

Veteran brunchers will easily shun the classic Bill’s Breakfast (now synonymous with The Sunday Morning, by the way) in favour of something along the lines of the Bill’s Healthy Breakfast Board or Eggs Royale. You know, something with a little more personality and punch. Having said that, on a busy Saturday morning last weekend, off I hopped into the Big Smoke and Bill’s Breakfast arrived on our rustic wooden table. Cooked with a helping of love for the job, Bill’s Breakfast is lightly filling with all the best trimmings. One for the first time bruncher.

The other classic Aesthetic brunch is Eggs Benedict, and Bill’s does it like no other. Garnished with pumpkin seeds to add extra nutrients to the most important meal of the day, Bill’s muffins are light, soft and toasty-crunchy, with a generous slice of ham and just-so-done poached egg on top. A step up brunch.

Visit the Bill’s website for a full list of branches in London and across the UK.
