Whip out the Wunderlist (more on that later) and start adding to that wishlist because J.W.Anderson has just released previews of his latest collection with Topshop for SS13.
Yep, six months has passed since all things tortoise printed, ghost knitted and bat woven hit the rails for AW12 and were just as promptly snapped up by avid fans, and he’s back with a brand new selection that is, dare I say it, even more covetable and quirky.
For SS13, think monochrome and washed out hues, preppy meets girly and a whole load more of animal motifs. In essence, my dream wardrobe filtered into a collection. From block coloured blazers to argyle inspired jumpers, duffle bags to those signature motif jumpers, I’ve earmarked the best of the best to make it into my wardrobe edit.
What Michelle will be shopping:
(Black shirt dress, £65;
White patent trench coat, £300;
Duck jumper, £65;
Red heart jumper, £70.)
What Aisling, associate fashion ed, will be shopping:
(Fringed knit jumper, £75;
White frill skirt, £100;
Black shorts, £50;
Striped shirt, £45.)
What have you added to your J.W.Anderson for Topshop hitlist?
Michelle Chai is a self-confessed colour avoider, avid coffee enthusiast, multi-tasker extraordinaire and, by night, a regular fashion blogger at Daisybutter. She edits Aesthetic (both online and print) and really enjoys her ongoing quest for the perfect knit. FYI, this one came close to nabbing the title.
Aisling Megan is Aesthetic’s very own flame haired stylist and associate fashion ed. When she’s not organising shoots for the mag, you will find her either in Westfield or in the fashion cupboards of other notable British publications. With a penchant for all things print, it’s hard to come by a patterned trouser she didn’t love – check out her ever-growing collection over at Fash-ling.com.
